Early 1980s Japanese RCA Records promo poster
Original first printing Hall & Oates promotional poster issued by RCA Records in Japan in the early 1980s, presumably around the release of the H20 album and their Japanese tour during October 1982. Produced by Hall and Oates themselves with Neil Kernon, H20 was the duo’s eleventh studio album. It reached #3 on the Billboard 200 and stayed on the chart for 68 weeks, 33 weeks in the top 10. It was certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) in April 1985 for sales exceeding 2,000,000 copies in the US. The poster was promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 72.6 x 51.3 cm (approx. 28.6″ by 20.2″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
