January 1982 Japanese concert tour program
Original concert program book lavishly produced for the “Great Piano Sessions” package tour of Japan during January 1982, featuring the Hank Jones Trio, the Roland Hanna Duo, and occasionally Japanese jazz singer Junko Mine. Hank Jones was accompanied by bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Alan Dowson, while Roland Hanna was accompanied by bassist George Mraz. With Mraz, Hanna released the Romanesque album in 1982, released on the Japanese Trio label.
In original illustrated coated wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 29.7 cm, 16 pp. All text in Japanese. In excellent complete condition, tightly bound and clean. Appears unread. Additional images of the program available on request.
