Original first printing concert poster advertising British rock group Genesis at the Olympiahalle in Munich [Germany] on Tuesday, 16th May, 1978, presented by Marcel Avram and Marek Lieberberg’s MAMA Concerts. The show in Munich was part of the first leg of their 1978 European tour in support of the … And Then There Were Three … album. It was their ninth studio album, but their first as a trio, following the departure of Steve Hackett. Recorded at Relight Studios in Hilvarenbeek under the guidance of producer David Hentschel, who had previously worked with both George Harrison and Elton John, the album was released on 23rd March, 1978. Featuring the hit single “Follow You Follow Me”, the album was a commercial success, reaching #3 on the UK album chart.
The poster measures 58.7 x 78.7 cm (approx. 23.1″ by 31″ inches) and is beautifully printed in red and black inks on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
