Large original first printing concert poster advertising the 1964 Frankfurt Jazz Festival staged at the Volksbildungsheim in Frankfurt [Germany] between 8th – 10th May, 1964, presented by the German Jazz Federation. Performing artists included Klaus Doldinger, Inge Brandenburg, Rolf Kühn, Michael Naura, Albert Mangelsdorff, Aladar Pege, Joe Harriott, Eje Thelin, Günter Hampel, Wolfgang Dauner, and many more. Striking artwork by noted graphic duo Hans Michel and Günther Kieser, with their imprint to the upper left side border.
The poster measures 83.9 x 118.7 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. Light edge wear to the lower left and right side borders as well as light overall surface handling wear. Additional photos available on request.
