November 1976 German tour blank concert poster
Original first printing concert poster designed to promote English-American guitarist and singer Peter Frampton’s nationwide tour of Germany during November 1976, with former Spooky Tooth keyboard player Gary Wright as special guest. By this time Frampton had just released the Frampton Comes Alive double live album. The album was a major breakthrough for Frampton, reaching #1 on the Billboard 200. It was the best-selling album of 1976, selling over 6 million copies in the US and has become one of the best-selling live albums to date, with estimated sales of 11 million worldwide.
The poster measures 59.7 x 84.4 cm (approx. 23.5″ by 33.2″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish, uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
