March 1963 UK concert tour program + ticket stub

Original vintage concert program for jazz giants Ella Fitzgerald and Oscar Peterson’s joint March 1963 nationwide tour of Great Britain, presented by Norman Granz and Harold Davison. On the tour Ella Fitzgerald was accompanied by Tommy Flanagan (piano), Jimmy Hughart (bass), Gus Johnson (drums), and Les Spann (guitar). Original ticket stub for the evening performance at the New Victoria Theatre in London on Monday, 18th March laid in.

In original pictorial coated wrappers, staple bound, 27.7 x 24.5 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Benny Green. Wrappers are slightly rubbed with light wear to spine and extremities, else near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
