Original used concert ticket for the 1961 Essener Jazz Tage staged at the Grugahalle in Essen [Germany] on Friday, 14th April, 1961, presented by Ralf Schulte-Bahrenberg. This was day one of the two-day festival and the Thelonious Monk Quartet, the Kenny Clarke–Francy Boland Big Band featuring trombonist Jay Jay Johnson; and the Newport Dixieland All Stars.
