Before leaving the US, the Quartet recorded a single-sided 7-inch record with five short ‘Messages to Australia’, to be sent to radio statons as publicity for the tour. While in Australia, they also recorded a half-hour television special for ATN-7 in Sydney. Special guest on the tour was American singer Laurie Loman, accompanied by the Don Harper Jazz Quintet. The program has been authentically signed twice by Dave Brubeck: on the front wrapper and on page 5 next to his photograph, both in blue ballpoint pen.
In original pink and black coated wrappers, staple bound, 21.6 x 28.0 cm, 16 pp. Light wear to spine and extremities and the staples a little rusty, else in excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
