Göta Lejon, Stockholm October 1984 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising the Dave Brubeck Quartet at the Göta Lejon in Stockholm [Sweden] on Wednesday, 24th October, 1984, in support of the For Iola album, recorded with clarinetist Bill Smith, electric bassist Chris Brubeck, and drummer Randy Jones. The album, dedicated to Brubeck’s wife Iola, was released in August 1984 on Carl Jefferson’s Concord Records.
The poster measures 63.9 x 89.9 cm (approx. 25.2″ by 35.4″ inches) and is beautifully printed in red and black inks on medium-thin, uncoated paper stock. Very light creasing to the lower right side border, else in excellent unfolded condition. Additional photos available on request.
