De Montfort Hall, Leicester June 1971 concert flyer
Large original first printing concert flyer advertising English progressive rock group Curved Air at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester [England] on Tuesday, 29th June, 1971, with multi-instrumentalist Marc Ellington and the Mick Abrahams Band as special guests. Touring in support of their new single “Back Street Luv”, the eleven date tour commenced at the Mayfair in Newcastle on 18th June and ended at the Winter Gardens in Weston-super-Mare on 3rd July, 1971. Written by band members Ian Eyre, Sonja Kristina, and Daryl Way, “Back Street Luv” was included on Second Album, released in September 1971, and reached #4 on the UK Singles Chart.
