Nippon Budokan, Tokyo February 1972 concert flyer

Original first printing double-sided concert flyer advertising American rock group Creedence Clearwater Revival at the famous Budokan in Tokyo [Japan] on Tuesday, 29th February 1972. They were touring in support of the Mardi Gras album – the band’s seventh and final studio album, prdouced by the band members themselves, and released on 11th April, 1972 by Fantasy Records. Recorded after the departure of guitarist Tom Fogerty, it was the band’s only studio album as a trio, and featured songs written, sung, and produced by each of the remaining members, rather than just John Fogerty.

The flyer measures 10.2 x 18.3 cm (approx. 4″ by 7.2″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated card stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.  Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the flyer available on request.
