1983 Japanese Warner-Pioneer Corporation/Duck Records promo poster for “Money and Cigarettes”
Large original first printing Eric Clapton promotional poster issued by Warner-Pioneer Corporation/Duck Records in Japan in 1983 to promote the release of the Money and Cigarettes album – Clapton’s eighth studio album, produced by Tom Dowd and released in February 1983. It was Clapton’s debut release on his own Duck imprint within Warner Bros.’ Reprise Records subsidiary. The album was moderately successful commercially, peaking at #16 on the Billboard 200. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
