October 1980 German concert tour poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising American rock group Cheap Trick’s October 1980 German tour, presented by Marcel Avram and Marek Lieberberg’s MAMA Concerts. Commencing at the Stadthalle in Offenbach on 1st October and ending at the Schwarzwaldhalle in Karlsruhe on 7th October, the band was touring in support of the All Shook Up album. Recorded at Air Studios in London and produced by former Beatles producer George Martin, the album was released on 24th October, 1980 by Epic Records. Containing the singles “Stop This Game” and “World’s Greatest Lover”, the album peaked at #24 on the Billboard 200.
The poster measures 83.6 x 59.1 cm (approx. 32.9″ by 23.2″ inches) and is beautifully printed in black ink on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
