September/October 1968 European concert tour program (Kieser)
Original vintage concert program for Ray Charles’ September/October 1968 European tour, in support of the A Portrait of Ray album, produced by Joe Adams and released in March 1968. Presented by Norman Granz in association with Lippmann+Rau, the tour commenced in Stockholm on 23rd September and ended with two shows at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt on 4th October, 1968. Program artwork and design by Günther Kieser.
In original b/w typographical matte-coated wrappers, staple bound, 27.7 x 25.6 cm, 12 pp. Bilingual edition with program notes by Siegfried Schmidt-Joos in both German and English. Light wear to spine and extremities and a couple of staple holes to the top of page 3. Else near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
