August 1976 UK concert tour program
Original concert program produced for American singer and musician Ray Charles’ August 1976 British tour, presented by Harold Davison. Prior to the tour, Charles had recorded the Porgy & Bess album with Cleo Laine at the RCA Recording Studio in Hollywood. In 1977, he reunited with Ahmet Ertegun and re-signed to Atlantic Records, for which he recorded the album True to Life, remaining with his old label until 1980.
In original illustrated coated wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 29.5 cm, 16 pp. In excellent complete condition, tightly bound and clean. Appears unread. Additional images of the program available on request.
