Landwirtschaftshalle, Kaiserslautern April 1976 concert poster

Original first printing concert poster advertising American blues and boogie group Canned Heat at the Landwirtschaftshalle in Kaiserslautern [Germany] on Tuesday, 27th April, 1976, presented by Euro-Music, and with progressive rock band Message as special guests. The concert in Kaiserslautern was part of the band’s first European tour during 1976, with a line-up that featured singer and harmonica player Bob “The Bear” Hite, guitarist Harvey Mandel, drummer Adolfo de la Parra, bassist Richard Hite, and guitarist Chris Morgan. Canned Heat would tour Germany again in November 1976 with A Band Called O and Amon Düül II. Chris Morgan and Richard Hite both quit the band in 1977.

The poster measures 58.5 x 84.0 cm (approx. 23″ by 83.1″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. Folded horizontally at the middle with a tiny closed rip to the bottom right corner, else in near excellent condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
