November 1967 German concert tour program
Original vintage concert program for the Dave Brubeck Quartet’s November 1967 German/Austrian tour, presented by Lippmann+Rau in association with Norman Granz. This was in the final days of the so-called “Classic Quartet”, featuring Brubeck, Desmond, Morello, and Wright. By the end of 1967 Brubeck had disbanded the Quartet allowing him more time to compose the longer, extended orchestral and choral works that were occupying his attention.
In original b/w matte-coated wrappers, staple bound, 27.7 x 25.6 cm, 12 pp. Bilingual edition with program notes by Siegfried Schmidt-Joos in both German and English. There is a faint paper clip mark to back wrapper, else near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
