Germany October 1969 concert poster (Kieser)
Original first printing concert poster designed to promote the American Folk Blues Festival October 1969 tour of Germany, presented by Lippmann+Rau. Performing artists included Juke Boy Bonner, Alex Moore, Clifton Chenier, Cleveland Chenier, Robert St. Julien, Earl Hooker, Mac Thompson, Carey Bell, John Jackson, and Magic Sam.
The poster measures 59.8 x 83.9 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. Striking artwork by noted German graphic designer, Günther Kieser, with his imprint to the left side border. In excellent unfolded condition, bright and unmarked. Additional photos available on request.
