Middelheim, Antwerp August 1976 concert program
Original vintage concert program for “Jazz Middelheim 1976” staged at the Middelheim Open Air Sculpture Museum in Antwerp [Belgium] from 10th to 14th August, 1976. Performing artists included the Charles Mingus Quintet, the Sam Rivers Trio, Slide Hampton, Dexter Gordon, Kenny Drew, the Louis Hayes-Junior Cook Quintet, the George Coleman Octet, Benny Waters, Randy Weston, Clark Terry, Toots Thielemans, as well as a number of European ensembles. On the night Charlie Mingus’ quintet featured Ricky Ford (tenor), Jack altar (trumpet), Dannie Mixon (piano), and Dannie Richmond (drums).
In original pictorial coated wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 19.8 cm, 24 pp. All text in Dutch. In near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean without any markings. Additional photos available on request.
