Original vintage concert program for the Jazz At The Philharmonic Nov/Dec 1966 package tour of Europe, presented by Lippmann+Rau in association with Norman Granz. Performing artists included Dizzy Gillespie, Coleman Hawkins, Benny Carter, Clark Terry, Teddy Wilson, Zoot Sims, Louis Bellson, Bob Cranshaw, James Moody, and blues giant T-Bone Walker, the pioneer of the modern electric blues guitar and childhood hero of Jimi Hendrix.
In original b/w coated wrappers, featuring artwork by Günther Kieser, staple bound, 27.5 x 25.5 cm, 16 pp. Bilingual edition with program notes by Siegfried Schmidt-Joos in both German and English. In excellent unmarked condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
