Tonhalle, Düsseldorf May 1998 concert poster (smaller version)
Original first printing concert poster advertising American jazz tenor saxophonist Illinois Jacquet at the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf [Germany] on Wednesday, 13th May, 1998, presented by René Heinersdorff. Jacquet’s final performance was on 16th July, 2004, at the Lincoln Center in New York. Jacquet died in his home in Queens, New York of a heart attack on 22nd July, 2004, at 81 years of age.
The poster measures 28.0 x 39.5 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition. Additional photos available on request.
