Georgian Club, Cowley October 1965 canceled gig contract
Original one page gig contract between Galaxy Entertainments in London and blues giant John Lee Hooker (1917–2001) dated 6th October, 1965. The contract engages John Lee Hooker and the Blues Healers to play two sets of each 30 minutes at the Georgian Club in Cowley [England] on 6th November, 1965. The salary was £75 which was to be be received in cash on the night. For unknown reasons, the actual contract was subsequently canceled and the gig may have been postponed.
