Large original first printing concert poster advertising American singer, songwriter, and musician Bob Seger at the Messezentrum in Nuremberg [Germany] on Friday, 28th November, 1980, presented by Marcel Avram and Marek Lieberberg’s MAMA Concerts. The concert in Nuremberg was part of Seger’s Fall 1980 European tour in support of the Against the Wind album – his eleventh studio album, produced by Bill Szymczyk, and originally released on 25th February, 1980 on Capitol Records. Containing the singles “Fire Lake”, “Against the Wind”, “You’ll Accomp’ny Me”, and “The Horizontal Bop/Her Strut”, the album was a huge commercial hit and reached #1 on the Billboard 200. The album spent 109 weeks on the chart (6 weeks at #1) and was certified 5x Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) in September 2003 for sales exceeding 5,000,000 copies in the US alone.
