Town Hall, Birmingham April 1971 concert flyer

Original first printing concert flyer advertising British rock group Mott the Hoople at the Town Hall in Birmingham [England] on Thursday, 22nd April, 1971, in support of Wildlife — the band’s third studio album, produced by the band members themselves and released in March 1971 on Island Records, just prior to the tour. Special guests on the tour were Bronco — an English five piece rock and country band, who were signed to Island Records in 1969 and released two albums on the label, Country Home (1970) and Ace of Sunlight (1971), before switching to Polydor in 1973.

The flyer measures 15.2 x 20.6 cm (approx. 6″ by 8″ inches) and is printed on thin, uncoated pink paper stock. Folded twice, else in near excellent condition.  Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the flyer available on request.
