Late 1970s Japanese Blue Note/King Records promo poster
Large original first printing Blue Note promotional poster issued by Blue Note/King Records in Japan in the late 1970s, presumably. The posters no less than 150 iconic Blue Note album releases. The poster was issued by King Records, who overtook the manufacturing rights of the Blue Note catalog in Japan from Toshiba EMI in 1977. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 60.9 x 86.1 cm (approx. 24″ by 33.9″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, dull-coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
