Kongresshalle, Frankfurt July 1977 concert poster

Large original first printing vintage concert poster advertising American singer, songwriter and guitarist Boz Scaggs at the Kongresshalle in Frankfurt [Germany] on Friday, 22nd July, 1977, presented by Lippmann+Rau. Scaggs was touring Europe in support of the Silk Degrees album, his seventh album, produced by Joe Wissert, and released on 18th February, 1976 on Columbia Records. Containg the singles “It’s Over”, “Lowdown”, Lido Shuffle”, and “What Can I Say”, the album reached #2 on the Billboard 200. It has been certified five times platinum by the RIAA and remains Scaggs’s best selling album. The touring band featured keyboard player David Paich, drummer Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate, and guitarist Steve Lukather, all future members of the band Toto.

The poster measures 59.8 x 83.8 cm (approx. 23.5″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
