Original first printing concert poster advertising English rock group Uriah Heep at the Stadthalle in Bremen [Germany] on Sunday, 7th May, 1972. Presented by Marcel Avram and Marek Lieberberg’s MAMA Concerts, the band was touring in support of the Demons and Wizards album. Recorded at Lansdowne Studios in London and produced by Gerry Bron, Demons and Wizards was the band’s fourth studio album, featuring the singles “The Wizard” and “Easy Livin”. It was also the first album to feature bass player Gary Thain and drummer Lee Kerslake, solidifying Heep’s rhythm section into a world class powerhouse. Selling 3 million copies worldwide, Demons and Wizards was the band’s breakthrough and is arguably their finest album. The poster features artwork by Manfred Vormstein, with the artist’s imprint to the lower left side border.
