Musikhalle, Hamburg September 1971 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising English rock group Uriah Heep at the Musikhalle in Hamburg [Germany] on Tuesday, 21st September, 1971, presentd by MAMA Concerts, and with progressive rock band Paladin as special guests. The concert in Hamburg was the first stop on a nationwide tour of Germany in support of the Look at Yourself album – the band’s third studio album, produced by Gerry Bron, and released in September 1971 on Bronze Records (Mercury Records in North America). The poster features striking artwork by J. Woltersdorf, with the artist’s imprint to the bottom right corner.
The poster measures 84.1 x 59.5 cm (approx. 33.1″ by 23.4″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition, with a small rip to the center of the left side border and to the center of the bottom border.
