1971 Japanese Warner Bros.-Pioneer Corporation promo poster
Original first printing Led Zeppelin promotional poster issued by Warner Bros.-Pioneer Corporation in Japan in 1971, presumably. Pioneer established the Warner Bros.-Pioneer Corporation with Warner Bros. Records and Watanabe Productions on 11th November, 1970, and became a new Japanese distributor of Warner Bros. Records releases. In 1972 they changed their name to Warner-Pioneer Corporation and extended their distribution to catalogs of Atlantic Records, Reprise Records, Elektra Records, and Asylum Records, along with other labels owned by WEA. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 72.6 x 50.9 cm (approx. 28.6″ by 20″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, textured uncoated paper stock. There is a very faint, hardly visible, tape mark to the bottom right corner, else in excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
