Westfalenhalle, Dortmund September 1959 concert ticket
Original large used concert ticket for Kid Ory’s performance at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund [Germany] on Monday, 28th September, 1959, presented by Ralf Schulte-Bahrenberg. Ory was accompanied by a band that featured trumpeter Henry “Red” Allen, clarinetist Bob McCracken, bassist William Girsback, drummer Alton Redd, and pianist Cedric Haywood. The show in Dortmund was part of 10-date nationwide tour of Germany, commencing at the Ernst Merck Halle in Hamburg on 20th September and ending at the Volksbildungsheim in Frankfurt on 30th September.
