February/March 1962 UK concert tour program

Original vintage concert program produced for Norman Granz’ Jazz At The Philharmonic Feb/March 1962 British tour, presented by Harold Davison. Performing artists included Ella Fitzgerald, the Coleman Hawkins–Roy Eldridge Quintet, and the Paul Smith Trio. Besides Hawkins and Eldridge, their quintet featured pianist Tommy Flanagan, bassist Major Holley, and drummer Edward Locke. Smith’s trio featured bassist Wilford Middlebrooks and drummer Stan Levy. Fitzgerald was accompanied by the Paul Smith Trio. The program features delicate artwork by David Stone Martin.

In original illustrated uncoated wrappers, staple bound, 21.1 x 26.9 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Benny Green. In excellent complete condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
