May 1973 Japanese concert tour program
Large original vintage program book lavishly produced for American jazz pianist and poet Cecil Taylor’s May 1973 Japanese tour, accompanied by drummer Andrew Cyrille and alto saxophonist Jimmy Lyons. The live album Akisakila, produced by Kuniya Inaoka and Takafumi Ohkuma and released on the Japanese Trio Records label, was recorded on this tour. The program has been authentically signed inside by Cyrille and Lyons.
In original illustrated coated wrappers, staple bound, 25.6 x 36.2 cm, 20 pp. All text in Japanese. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent complete condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
