October 1968 German concert tour program (Kieser)
Original vintage concert program program for Indian sitar virtuoso Ravi Shankar’s October 1968 nationwide tour of Germany accompanied by Alla Rakha (tabla) and Nodu Mullick (tamboura). Presented by Lippmann+Rau, the tour kicked off at the Schumannsaal in Düsseldorf on 12th October and ended at the famous Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt on 18th October, 1968. The program features artwork by noted German graphic artist Günther Kieser.
In original b/w pictorial matte-coated wrappers, staple bound, 27.6 x 25.6 cm, 16 pp. Bilingual edition with text in both German and English. In excellent complete condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
