June 1969 UK concert tour program

Original vintage concert program produced for English rock group Led Zeppelin’s June 1969 tour of Great Britain, presented by Chrysalis in association with Peter Grant, and with Liverpool Scene and Blodwyn Pig also on the bill. The tour was in support of Zeppelin’s eponymous debut album, produced by guitarist Jimmy Page and released on 12th January, 1969 by Atlantic Records. The album was recorded in September and October 1968 at Olympic Studios in London shortly after the band’s formation. The album showed the group’s fusion of blues and rock, and their take on the emerging hard rock sound was immediately commercially successful in both the UK and US, reaching the Top-10 on album charts in both countries.

In original blue and black pictorial matte-coated wrappers, staple bound, 20.4 x 26.5 cm, 16 pp. Program notes by June Harris. In excellent complete condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
