1970 Columbia Broadcasting System Inc. (CBS) promotional poster

Original first printing Johnny Winter promotional poster issued by Columbia Broadcasting System Inc. (CBS) in 1970, presumably to promote the release of the Johnny Winter And album – his fourth studio album, produced by Winter himself along with guitarist Rick Derringer, and originally released in September 1970 on Columbia Records in the US. It was the first album released with Rick Derringer as a sideman. Johnny Winter And was also the name of his band for a short time. The band included bassist Randy Jo Hobbs and drummer Randy Zehringer. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 55.6 x 83.3 cm (approx. 21.9″ by 32.8″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. A few tack holes to the corners, else in remarkably near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
