Fabrik, Hamburg July 1985 concert poster

Original first printing concert poster advertising American guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan (1954–1990) at the Fabrik in Hamburg [Germany] on Friday, 5th July, 1985. The concert in Hamburg was the first stop on Vaughan’s short nine-date tour of continental Europe during July, in support of the Soul to Soul album. It  was also the only concert in Germany on this tour. Recorded at the Dallas Sound Lab between March and May 1985 and produced by Richard Mullen, the album was released on 30th September 30, 1985 by Epic Records. Soul to Soul was Vaughan’s third studio album. It received mixed reviews, with acclaim for Vaughan’s style and playing, and criticism for a lack of inspiration and Vaughan’s “hit or miss songwriting.” Containing the singles “Lookin’ Out the Window” and “Look at Little Sister”, the album peaked at #34 on the Billboard 200.

The poster measures 59.1 x 83.7 cm (approx. 23.3″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed in black ink on thin coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
