Original vintage concert program for jazz giants Sarah Vaughan and Count Basie’s joint September 1963 nationwide tour of Great Britain, presented by Harold Davison. Sarah Vaughan was accompanied by the Kirk Stuart Trio, consisting of Kirk Stuart (piano), George Hughes (drums), and Charles Williams (bass). Original ticket stub for the concert at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Saturday, 14th September, laid in.
In original blue and black pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 26.5 x 20.8 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Benny Green. Staples a little rusty, else near fine, tightly bound and clean without further markings. Additional images of the program available on request.
