Donauhalle, Ulm January 1979 concert poster

Large original first printing concert poster advertising English rock group Uriah Heep at the Donauhalle in Ulm [Germany] on Monday, 29th January, 1979, presented by Interteam Tour Promotion, and with the Michael Wynn Band as special guests. The show in Ulm was part of their tour of continental Europe during January in support of the Fallen Angel album – their twelfth studio album, produced by Ken Hensley and Gerry Bron, and released in September 1978 by Bronze Records. It was the last album to feature singer John Lawton. Fallen Angel only reached #186 on the Billboard 200, but in Germany, the band were at the height of their popularity.

The poster measures 59.0 x 83.2 cm (approx. 23.2″ by 32.8″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. Unfolded, but with a fair amount of edge wear, particularly to the lower portions of the poster. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
