Large original first printing concert poster advertising English rock group UFO at the Scheffelhalle in Singen [Germany] on Friday, 6th May, 1977, presented by Interteam Tour Promotion in cooperation with Horder + Salomon. The show in Singen was part of the group’s tour of continental Europe during May in support of the Lights Out album – their sixth studio album, produced by Ron Nevison, and originally released in May 1977 by Chrysalis Records. Containing the singles “Alone Again Or”, “Too Hot to handle”, and “Try Me”, the album reached #23 on the Billboard 200, and stayed on the chart for 24 weeks. In the UK, the album peaked at #54 and stayed on the UK Album Chart for 2 weeks. Lights Out is the first UFO album to feature Paul Raymond on keyboards and rhythm guitar.
The poster measures 59.0 x 83.4 cm (approx. 23.2″ by 32.8″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. Neatly folded thrice, else in near excellent condition.
