May 1975 Japanese concert tour program
Large original vintage concert program lavishly produced for American rock group Three Dog Night’s May 1975 Japanese tour, presented by Udo Artists Inc. The 11-date tour commenced with two consecutive shoes at the Welfare Pension Hall in Sapporo on 1st & 2nd May and ended at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on 16th May, 1975. The tour was their third and final major concert tour of Japan, occurring right at the tail end of their peak commercial era. It served as part of the global promotion for what would be one of their final classic-era studio albums, Coming Down Your Way (1975). The tour featured the band’s signature three-lead-vocalist format, though internal tensions were mounting behind the scenes. By late 1975, escalating drug issues led to Danny Hutton being dismissed from the group, and the original collective disbanded entirely by July 1976.
In original illustrated dull-coated wrappers, staple bound, 25.5 x 36.3 cm, 36 pp. All text in Japanese. In excellent complete condition, tightly bound and clean.
