1977 Japanese Odeon/Toshiba EMI promotional poster

Original first printing The Beatles promotional poster issued by Odeon/Toshiba EMI in Japan in 1977. Toshiba Musical Industries, the publisher of EMI in Japan (Toshiba EMI), divided classical music into “Angel Records” and popular music into “Odeon Records” in January 1963. The poster features a photo of the Fab Four posing on the banks of the Thames during their last official photoshoot in July 1968. The poster was issued as part of the label’s “100 Years of Recorded Sound” series. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 72.8 x 51.2 cm (approx. 28.7″ by 20.2″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
