The concert in Winterthur was part of the band’s 12-date tour of continental Europe during February 1975, in support of the On the Level album, kicking off at the Dom Sportova in Zagreb on 5th February and ending at the Sartory Saal in Cologne on 23rd February, 1975. Recorded at IBC Studios and Phonogram Studios in London and produced by the band themselves, On the Level was released on 21st February, 1975 by Vertigo. When the album was released, the group were more or less at the peak of their career, record sales-wise. The album entered the UK Album chart at #1. All tracks were written or co-written by the group and long-term collaborator Bob Young, apart from “Bye Bye Johnny”, which was a Chuck Berry composition. “Down Down” was the only single released from the album. It gave the band their only #1 hit to date. The poster features artwork by Swiss artist Peter Blumer.

Printed by Walter Sprüngli, the poster measures 24.3 x 63.7 cm and is printed on thin, coated paper stock (coated on front only). Neatly folded horizontally at the middle and light creasing to the bottom border, else in near excellent condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
