Rheinhalle, Düsseldorf October 1969 concert poster (Kieser)

Original first printing concert poster advertising Oscar Peterson at the Rheinhalle in Düsseldorf [Germany] on Tuesday, 14th October, 1969. For the tour, Peterson was accompanied by bassist Sam Jones and drummer Bobby Durham, who had been with him since 1966 and 1967, respectively. Later that year, the trio went into the studio with German producer Hans Georg Brunner-Schwer to record the album Hello Herbie with guest guitarist Herb Ellis. This trio also recorded Tristeza on Piano in 1970, but by the time of the next European tour in November 1970, Jones and Durham were replaced by bassist George Mraz and drummer Ray Price. The poster features artwork by Günther Kieser, with his imprint to the center of the left side border.

The poster measures 59.8 x 83.7 cm (approx. 23.5″ by 32.9″ inches) and is beautifully on printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition.
