New Victoria Theatre, London October 1976 concert program
Original concert program for the Newport Jazz Festival staged at the New Victoria Theatre in London on Saturday, 30th October, 1976, presented by Danny O’Donovan and George Wein, and featuring Sonny Rollins, McCoy Tyner, and blues giant Muddy Waters. Muddy’s band for the tour consisted of Luther Johnson (guitar), Calvin Jones (bass), Robert Margolin (guitar), Bob Perkins (piano), Jerry Portnoy (harmonica), and Willi Smith (drums).
In original red and black photographical coated wrappers, staple bound, 29.8 x 21.0 cm, 12 pp. Program notes by Geoge Wein. Very light wear to spine and extremities, otherwise near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
