Original first printing Charles Mingus promotional poster issued by Prestige / Victor JVC in Japan as part of the Masters of Jazz series. Generally considered to be one of the greatest jazz musicians and composers in the history of jazz, Mingus died on 5th January, 1979, aged 56.
The poster measures 41.8 x 59.3 cm (approx. 16.4″ by 23.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
