Shiba Postal Savings Hall, Tokyo August 1982 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising “Midsummer Night Jazz Vocal” at the Shiba Postal Savings Hall in Tokyo [Japan] on Tuesday, 24th August, 1982, featuring American jazz singers Anita O’Day, Carol Sloane, and Helen Merrill. Their respective careers had all stalled for a time in the 1970s, but were resumed successfully in Japan by the late 1970s and early 1980s.
