Quartier Latin, Berlin March 1984 concert poster
 (Zrocke)

Original first printing concert poster advertising American jazz vocalist Bobby McFerrin at the Quartier Latin in Berlin [Germany] on Friday, 23rd March, 1984, presented by Karsten Jahnke in cooperation with Concert Concept. His second solo album, The Voice, was recorded on this German tour. The album is historic in-so-far it was the first time a jazz singer had recorded an entire album solo, without accompaniment or overdubbing, for a major label. The Voice peaked at #24 on the Billboard Jazz Album Charts. The poster features artwork by Paul-Helmut Zrocke (from photos by Moni Kellermann), with the artist’s imprint to the right side border.

The poster measures 59.2 x 83.9 cm (approx. 23.3″ by 33″ inches) and is printed in yellow and black inks on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
