Stadthalle, Offenbach May 1977 concert poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising English blues singer, guitarist, organist and songwriter John Mayall at the Stadthalle in Offenbach [Germany] on Thursday, 5th May, 1977, presented by Fritz Rau and Michael Scheller. The concert in Offenbach was the last stop on a ten-date German tour during April and May 1977 in support the Lots of People album, recorded live at The Roxy in Los Angeles on 24th Novermber, 1976, and produced by Mayall himself. His band at the time featured bassist Larry Taylor, drummer Frank Wilson, guitarist Gary Rowles, percussionist Warren Bryant, and pianist Jay Spell.
The poster measures 59.8 x 83.7 cm (approx. 23.5″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
