1997 Japanese East West Japan/Atlantic Records promotional poster for “BBC Sessions”
Original first printing Led Zeppelin promotional poster issued by East West Japan/Atlantic Records in Japan in 1997 to promote the release of the BBC Sessions compilation album, produced by Jimmy Page and originally released on 17th November, 1997 on Atlantic Records. The album consists of material from four different 1969 BBC sessions, as well as most of the concert from the Paris Theatre in London on 1st April, 1971. The album was re-released in September 2016 as The Complete BBC Sessions with further BBC recordings, including the “Sunshine Woman” session.The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 51.3 x 72.7 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.6″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock.
