The title of the book translates as The Naked Angels. Kerouac’s contributions include “The Philosophy of the Beat Generation” (Esquire March 1958); selections from Book of Dreams; “The Beginning of Bop” (Escapade April 1959); “There’s a Great New Jazz Era Ahead” (Escapade Dec 1960); “Zen is not Letting …” (Escapade Oct 1960); excerpt from “Big Trip to Europe” from Lonesome Traveler; Chapters 4–7 of “Passing through Mexico” from Desolation Angels; and “The Mad Road …” (Escapade April 1961). Unknown number of copies issued December 1988.

Crown octavo (8vo), 14.0 x 20.4 cm, 160 pp. In original illustrated dull-coated wrappers, perfectbound. As new. Additional images of the book available on request.
